Presentation - Trigance Canyon
The Trigance canyon is a tributary of Verdon river. It is in Trigance town that the Bas Jabron canyon empties into the Verdon river. This canyon is located in the Var department very close to Toulon, Hières and Brignoles cities. The Trigance Canyon is a slot canyon. It is an entertaining and beautiful spring canyon. In summer time, it is a bit dry. Some jumps and a 6 meters high abseiling will intiate you to canyon with a lot of fun. Moreover, it is suitable for family.

Trigance canyon is suitable for beginners and a family activity, even for children. Indeed, the highest waterfall is about 6 or 7 meters high and jumps are not mandatory.
Course of the day
The meeting point is the canyon parking lot (use the GPS coordinates below to help you find out). The guide will meet you there. After a short talk about safety, he will give you all the necessary canyoning equipment for the half day.Just two minutes walk after, you will reach the starting point and now it will be time for you to enjoy your half day canyoning. Entertainings, a beautiful narrow and deep canyon will make your day.
Where is the Trigance canyon located?
As its names implies, this canyon is located in the Trigance town in the Var department (83). The GPS coordinates are :
43.7677, 6.4454 (decimal degrees)
43°46'03.9"N 6°26'43.8"E (DMS).
From Trigance center, take the road D90 towards Castellane by the road D955. In a crossroad, take the road D955 on your left side. Soon, about some hundreds meters away, take the first dirt track on your left. The parking lot is at the end of this track in a dead-end. You will see a dam which indicates the starting point of Trigance canyon.

Good to know : GPS tools and Google Maps app will indicate you hypothetical time for your itinerary. To be on time the day of the activity,better to add a couple time more than expected. Remember, this mountainous region has narrow roads with a lot of turns!
